Health & Safety Policy Statement
Lyra International is committed to robust health and safety standards across the group — safeguarding the wellbeing of our employees and visitors.
Last updated: February 2024
Statement of intent
We comply with applicable health and safety legislation, provide workplaces and systems of work that are reasonably safe, and maintain a culture of safety awareness. These provisions apply across all Lyra International entities.
Responsibilities
The group Chief Executive Officer holds overall accountability for health and safety, and the Board provides adequate resources to meet our obligations. Each legal entity's Managing Director or Country Manager ensures compliance with national law. Employees take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others affected by their work.
Risk assessment & working environment
We carry out risk assessments to identify hazards — including work-related stress — and implement protective measures, reviewed annually. Where home-based work is authorised, we support comparable health and safety standards, providing ergonomic equipment and maintaining regular contact to prevent isolation.
Reporting
Employees promptly report injuries, accidents, near-misses and safety concerns. Serious accidents are escalated to senior management within 24 hours, and insights inform measures to prevent recurrence.
